And we're done!!!

So, we have finished production on Nicole. It took us about 8 days in sound design. There are innumerable people to thank but it’s extraordinarily gratifying to see this project through. With an independent film you really need people who believe in you and the project. I have been blessed to have both of those.

Now that we have given birth to the film, we need to see what it can do on its own now. I will be submitting to various film festivals and hopefully we’ll get in to some.

I’m happy with the final film, I feel like it was the best we could do given our budget and time constraints. Our actors were incredible. The crew worked at such a high level and we had a great time making it. Filmmaking is a physically and mentally exhausting business. So you need to have fun.

I’ll keep updating our progress. I know that I haven’t kept up with the blog as well as I should but I’ve had to work on the film while earning a living as well. But I’ll try to be better as we go along.
